Girls Aloud announce Ten album and 12-date 2013 UK reunion tour
Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh have announced that Girls Aloud will be going on tour next year after releasing their new album Ten.
The band held a press conference today at the Corinthia Hotel in London’s Whitehall make the announcement.
Ten will be released on November 26 while Something New, the first single to be taken from the album, is due out on November 18.
Girls Aloud will be performing the new track for the first time on Children In Need on November 16.
Their 2013 tour will kick off in Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on February 21 and ends at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on March 20.
They will also play two dates at London’s O2 Arena on March 1 and March 2.
Cheryl said it felt ‘very normal’ to be reunited with her bandmates.
‘We’ve had so many amazing experiences together as young teenage girls to young women.’
Nicola added that the reunion tour was ‘meant to be’ while Nadine said: ‘We always knew we were going to do something.’
